Mike Reynolds is a distinguished attorney at law of national acclaim. Mr. Reynolds expertise in representations include financial institutions, banks, asset-based lenders, investment firms, and private lenders in debt enforcement and realization solutions. Throughout his practice, he has demonstrated a strong track record of success in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, corporate reorganizations, debtor, creditor, creditor committee and trustee representations, creditors’ rights and remedies, and more. He regularly practices at the trial and appellate court level in both state and federal court, has argued before the Supreme Court of California as well as in all districts of the United States District Courts.
Additionally, Mr. Reynolds has notably represented a $100+ million producer and distributor of baby and toddler-related gear and products, a multimillion-dollar e-business solutions firm, and a trucking company in bankruptcy cases involving confirmation of Chapter 11 plan by cramming down on dissenting creditors. Mr. Reynolds successfully represented a private U.S. company in complex litigation in several different forums against the government of Chiapas, Mexico.
Positions and memberships that Mr. Reynolds has both currently holds and has held in the past include formerly serving as Chairman of the Orange County Bar Association and the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section, Former President (2010) and member of the Board of Directors (2003-2011) of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and member of the California Receivers’ Forum.
Mr. Reynolds’ education includes a BA he received from the the University of California at Davis in 1991 and a JD from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1994.
Mr. Reynolds is the author of America’s Three-strikes law, has published “Will Your Charitable Service Go Unpunished?,” to the Orange County Business Journal (November 22-28, 2010), co-authored “Our Orange County Winter of Discontent,” for the Orange County Business Journal (November 24-30, 2008), and presented “Enforcement of Judgments in California”.
As a result of his achievements, Mr. Reynolds has received the award “Bar and Driver,” in a featured article of the Los Angeles & San Francisco Daily Journal (February 16, 2018), been recognized as one of, ‘The Best Lawyers in America’, Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law (2018-2020), has been recognized in ‘Southern California Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars Edition, Bankruptcy, Corporate Reorganization, Creditors’ Rights and Remedies (2003-2007), and recognized in Young Gun (top 20 in Southern California under 40 years old) by the Daily Journal (March 2005).
